在研究了经过直布罗陀海峡联接欧非两洲的方案以后,决定采用西班牙提出的一7公里长的隧洞方案,因为此方案比架桥+Il管道等都要使宜,而且可以解决很多运输问题。
Having studied the scenario of linking the Strait of Gibraltar to Europe and Africa through the Strait of Gibraltar, it decided to adopt Spain’s proposal of a 7-kilometer-long tunnel because it would do more than Bridge + Il, and would solve many transport problems.
