地球物理勘探技术能够快速、无损地对地下遗迹现象进行定位、定型、定量或定性分析,引导我们对重点电磁信号异常区所反映出的疑似迹象进行人工钻探确认。这不但大大节省了考古调查的时间和经费,还使以后的考古发掘工作更具有针对性。濮阳市戚城遗址是龙山文化、东周、汉代三城依次叠压的重要古城址,具有很高的史学、考古学研究价值,通过地球物理勘探技术在该遗址的应用,印证、发现了一些已知和未知的文物遗迹。
