黃帝問道於廣成子之寓言見於《莊子·在宥》。此篇是以義名篇的,莊子說:“聞在宥天下,不聞治天下也。在之也者,恐天下之淫其性也;宥之也者,恐天下之遷其德也。天下不淫其性,不遷其德,有治天下者哉?”這是《莊子》中以道家觀念和寓言方式論述治國之道的名篇。郭象解釋說:“宥使自在則治,治之則亂也。人之生也,直莫之蕩,則性命不過,欲惡不爽。在上者不能無爲,上之所爲,而民皆赴之,故有誘慕好欲,而民性淫矣。故所貴聖之者,非貴其能治也,貴其無爲,而任物之自爲也。”~①莊子在此篇發揮了《老子》第五十七章之意:“我
