The “New Moon School” is an influential literary school in the 20th and 30th centuries of China’s last century. Why is it called the “New Moon”? How did these two characters come from? The name of the original was actually a famous cultural figure in Tianjin and Professor Zhang Pengchun from Nankai University. In June 1919, Zhang Pengchun entered the Columbia University Research Institute to pursue his doctoral degree. In April 1922, his paper “Education Started to Modernize China” passed.
