清华大学最大的高科技企业——清华紫光集团,它伴随着国家经济发展、宏观调控和税制改革的脉搏起伏,在各部委、北京市及各有关方面和学校的大力支持下,在员工的努力下,近年来,继续前进在发展的道路上。继1994年末一万平方米的紫光大楼竣工运营,三千平方米的宿舍大楼分配、使用,1993、1994年连续被北京市新技术产品开发试验区评为“经济20强”,1994年12月张本正总裁被评为第四届全国科技实业家创业奖银奖之后,1995年全年集团的营业额达2.2亿元以上,利税达2000万元以上,将分别比1994年增长30％左右。在坚持发展、加强管理、走向规范等方面,紫光集团近年来又有显著的发展,主要表现在以下方面:
