The composition and distribution of nitrogen and phosphorus in organisms are interconnected and can interact with the environment to regulate plant nutrition and growth and development. In this paper, the effects of environmental abiotic, biological and human factors on the stoichiometry of nitrogen and phosphorus in plants, the mechanism of nitrogen and phosphorus stoichiometry on plant growth and development and metabolites, and their effects on the growth and metabolism of medicinal plants The role of accumulation of medicinal plants and nitrogen and phosphorus stoichiometry trends in the study. It is pointed out that the stoichiometric characteristics of nitrogen and phosphorus elements provide new ideas for the research of medicinal plants in response to environmental changes, determination of restricted nutrient elements and the interaction with mycorrhizal fungi, and provide a theoretical basis for resource evaluation and standardization cultivation of medicinal plants.
