As the risk of breaking the normal fortification ability of urban power supply system exists at any time, it is imminent to improve the emergency response capacity and security capability of urban power supply. This paper gives an overview of the development history, current situation and development trend of urban power supply emergency at home and abroad, and gives some suggestions to improve the emergency response capability of urban power supply system.
