During the journey of the Red Army thousands of miles, the vast grasslands of hundreds of miles are one of the toughest and most heroic routes they have ever walked through. The harshness of the grassland environment is unimaginable. It is not only rare for human beings but also for animals and birds. Although we did our best before the grassland was over, the amount of food we raised was still seriously inadequate. Just over half the grass, even less than half, it has been cut off food. In order to be able to step out of the grass, officers and men of the Red Army tried their best to find ways to find something to eat, such as belts, purses, vests, saddles, bongos, wild vegetables, grass roots and bark. Among the collections of the Chinese National Museum, there are many that have witnessed the relics that the Red Army marched on for hard life in the grasslands. The most typical of these are the cattle leashes left by comrades-soldiers of the Red Army, Zhou Guangcai, and comrades-in-arms, the cow leash left by Ren Bishi and the guard Li Shao-ching, and the wild herbs collected by Liu Yi, a member of the Red Army Corps, on the Gequ River ... The testimony of the arduous journey of the Long March of the Red Army is also the best interpretation of the spirit of the Long March.
