2025速生杨是中国林科院林业研究所著名专家黄东森研究员培育成功的中林北京2000系列中的一个品号。它不同于其它速生杨,其主要特点是: 一是它的叶脉向阳面是血红色,叶片硕大,长30cm,宽25cm,比一般速生杨叶大1.5～2倍,叶大光合作用好,速生性很强,长势极其突出,对比林表现明显优于其它速生杨种。 当年扦插苗,在华北石家庄兴达公司苗圃生长年高平均4.5m,胸径粗2.8～3.5cm。
