近几年,一些人一味追求居住豪华、超豪华住宅甚至高档别墅,两口或三口之家动辄二、三百平方米甚至更大。为了迎合这些需求,一些开发商大造特造豪华住宅、超豪华住宅和高档别墅。有报道说,北京、上海、广州均出现顶级豪宅、别墅,最大的一栋占地面积竟达2500平方米,相当于一栋居民住宅楼的面积,其价格也高达1.2亿元。而更加令人费解的是,有关部门对这种造成资源巨大浪费的行为,竟然听之任之,现有的法律似乎也显得苍白无力,从而使这种现象大有逐渐蔓延之势。从立法层面上限制豪华住宅已经刻不容缓。
