一个采用单一波长单模光纤的双向传输系统,已经由法国的全国电讯研究中心(CNET)设计和建成,目前它正在进行试验。该系统已有10 km的距离,能传输双向2.464 Mbit/s的比特流。双向工作是采用一个单一的1300 nm波长的半双工。采用的光器件是边发光二极管,带有场效应晶体管的PIN光电二极管(PIN-FET) 以及单模光耦合器。
A two-way transmission system using single-wavelength single-mode fiber has been designed and built by France’s National Telecommunications Research Center (CNET) and is currently undergoing trials. The system has a distance of 10 km and can transmit bidirectional 2.464 Mbit / s bit streams. Bidirectional operation is half-duplex with a single 1300 nm wavelength. The optical devices used are edge LEDs, PIN photodiodes with field effect transistors (PIN-FETs), and single-mode optocouplers.
