我是PTC的会员,也是到2002年元月为止的中国大陆仅存的PTC个人会员。目前还是被全体会员选出的中国大陆唯一的PTC理事,所谓PTC是太平洋通信委员会或太平洋电信议会(Pacific Telecommunications Council)的简称。 PTC总部位于美国夏威夷州府檀香山市(火奴鲁鲁)。PTC是一个国际性的、非政府的、非官方的、非营利的民间会员组织团体,在亚太地区通信及信息技术发展中扮演着极其重要的角色,与电信业、消费者、决策者、技术人员、教育人士、科技人士都有直接关系。现在,PTC已有700多名会员,他们来自世界各地(包括中国台湾省和香港),理事有57人。
I am a PTC member and the only PTC individual member in Mainland China up to January 2002. Currently it is the only PTC member in mainland China to be elected by all members. The so-called PTC is short for the Pacific Communications Commission or the Pacific Telecommunications Council. PTC is headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, the state of Honolulu. PTC is an international, non-governmental, unofficial and not-for-profit civil society organization that plays an extremely important role in the development of communications and information technology in the Asia-Pacific region. It is in close cooperation with telecommunications, consumers, decision makers, technology Personnel, educators, science and technology have a direct relationship. Now, PTC has more than 700 members, they come from all over the world (including Taiwan Province of China and Hong Kong), there are 57 members.
