明社既屋,两对才子佳人出了大名。一对是侯方域和李香君,一对是钱谦益和柳如是。虽然前者有孔尚任的大手笔为之揄扬,成为《桃花扇》里人,但在清季乃至民国,却远没有钱柳遗事影响大,多少代文人墨客,对钱柳遗事,说了又说。别的不提,现在的学人,大都知道陈寅恪有一部厚厚的《柳如是别传》,言必称“河东君”(柳如是的号)。
