从1958年起电解铝厂曾采用炭糊联结方式代替生铁浇铸法来联结阴极棒和炭块。经过几年生产实践,发现炭糊联结方式有比较严重的缺点,例如在电解槽安装底部炭块和焙烧过程发现阴极棒有位移现象;这种联结方式的电解槽在焙烧启动期间或在生产时期,与生铁浇铸方式的电解槽比较,炉底电压降比较高。因此从1962年下半年以后已停止采用炭糊联结方式并恢复了生铁浇铸法。下面结合电解铝厂几年来的实践情况,谈谈关于铝电解槽阴极棒与炭块用炭糊联结方式的一些主要问题。
