乡土历史是中国历史的细胞,也是中国历史的缩影,带有浓厚的地方文化色彩和乡土情味。在枯燥的历史教学中渗透乡土历史,有利于增加学生的亲切感、认同感,不但能够让学生了解到家乡的历史文化,而且可以缩短教材知识与现实的距离,激发学生的学习积极性,促进历史教学质量的提高。利用乡土历史进行教学,有利于拓展课程资源、巩固课程知识、增强学生学习历史的直观感受、培养学生历史学习能力,还有利于进行爱国主义教育,培养学生的爱国主义精神。
