本文是R.A.拉赫曼尼(Rahmoni)博士为1982年在加拿大召开的第11届国际沉积学大会会前地质旅行路线21A所写的考察指南。根据此文和译者参加该路线旅行期间实地拍摄的部分照片,可以了解潮汐作用占优势三角洲沉积作用的一个很好的实例,此种类型的古三角洲,我国尚未报导过。读者还可籍此实例较具体地了解加拿大沉积学家进行环境分析和建立环境模式的一般方法。作者除选择出露非常好的地区详细分析环境标志外,特别强调了沉积相的相互关系,即垂直层序和横向上的变化,这种相的共生组合关系对正确地识别沉积体系具有决定性作用。古流测量在环境分析中也是重要环节。最后,作者选择现代类似的环境进行对比,为所做的论断提供了重要依据。由于篇幅所限,对文、图都做了删减。
This article is a review guide by R.A. Rahmoni for the geology travel route 21A prior to the 11th International Congress of Sedimentology held in Canada in 1982. A good example of the sedimentation of the predominantly tidal delta can be found in this and part of the photographs taken by the translator during the course of the route trip, a type of paleo-delta that my country has not yet reported. The reader can also use this example to understand more specifically the general method by which Canadian sedimentologists conduct environmental analyzes and establish environmental models. In addition to the detailed analysis of the environmental indicators, the author places particular emphasis on the correlation between sedimentary facies, ie, vertical sequence and horizontal variation. The symbiotic relationship of these facies is decisive for the correct identification of depositional systems . The ancient flow measurement is also an important part of environmental analysis.
