After graduating from college, I was fortunate to have interviewed Shen Congwen for her work in a domestic magazine. That was in 1985, when Shen Congwen, an old man, lived in a high-rise apartment building near the Academy of Social Sciences near Xijiaomin Lane. When interviewing the elderly has been sitting in an old wicker chair, a good looking, very peaceful. Always smiling. Shen old talk a bit like ink, such as the style of gold, then very few words are very refined, but the words actually make people memorable. For example, he and Masicong are very good friends, but the mention is so insipid: Unfortunately, he later left. Shen old said several times, “I have always been a countryman”, “From Hunan to Beijing I was a countryman, I want to change, others have changed, always can not keep up, today I am a countryman,” “I am not a smart man , Will not change. ”
