武安的山山水水永远留下了一位老地质工作者奔波跋涉的足迹;武安的城镇乡村,到处都有他为民造福的事迹在传扬。现任武安市地矿局局长的白方贤,1964年毕业于北京地质学院。1983年,他被四处“访贤”的父母官从外地请回了家乡,以助武安搞好地下资源的开发。从此,他探矿找水,不辞劳苦,寻踪觅宝,踏遍青山,为武安地下资源的开发作出了巨大贡献,被誉为“德高艺精的探宝人”。他提出的“低缓异常找矿规律”被北京地质学院教授编进大学教材,并用中、俄两种文字编写出版了《磁法寻找矽卡岩型磁铁矿经验汇编》一书。
The mountains and rivers of Wu’an will always leave the footsteps of an old geologic worker; the towns and villages in Wu’an have been spreading his deeds of benefiting the people everywhere. Bai Fangxian, currently the director of the Bureau of Mines and Minerals in Wu’an City, graduated from Beijing Geological College in 1964. In 1983, he was invited by his parents from all over the country to help Wu’an to develop underground resources. From then on, he went to prospecting for water and worked tirelessly to search for treasures and traveled to the mountains. He made great contributions to the development of underground resources in Wu’an and was praised as the treasure hunter of Takao Art. He proposed “slow and abnormal prospecting ” by Beijing Institute of Geology professor compiled into university textbooks, and in both Chinese and Russian writing published “magnetic method to find skarn magnetite compilation of experience,” a book.
