It is generally accepted that there are few problems in the field of geology that do not involve the notion of time. The unifying principle of geology is the chronological order and comparison of geological events. In order to solve the global geological problems, stratigraphy and paleontology are required to exert more potential in solving stratigraphic comparisons in the world.
