彭礼孝:中国建筑师每每提及芬兰建筑的时候,总是会强调地域主义。低调、人文关怀等芬兰建筑师所强调的理念也被归入地域主义的范畴。这样的理解是否有偏差?芬兰建筑真实的特点是什么?Teemu Kurkela(以下简称Teemu):我承认芬兰建筑考虑的是低调的地域主义和人文关怀。但是同时芬兰建筑又是直接的、实践的和自然的。而且我希望芬兰建筑还被视为带有不同寻常的创造力的设计。我相信芬兰建筑可以将创造力和高技术质量结合。换句话说,我们同时用左脑和右脑设计建筑的整体。
Peng Lixiao: Chinese architects often emphasize regionalism when referring to Finnish architecture. Low-key, humane care and other ideas emphasized by the Finnish architects also belong to the category of regionalism. Are there any biases in this understanding? What are the real characteristics of Finnish architecture? Teemu Kurkela: I recognize that Finnish architecture considers low-key regionalism and humanistic concern. But at the same time, Finnish architecture is direct, practical and natural. And I hope Finnish architecture is also considered a design with unusual creativity. I believe that Finnish architecture can combine creativity with high-tech quality. In other words, we use both the left and right brain to design the whole building.
