在许多种铜合金中往往含有微量的锑。其中锑的测定主要是采用SbCl_6~-与碱性染料甲基紫,结晶紫,罗丹明B等缔合成三元络合物,以苯、甲苯等有机溶剂萃取的分光光度法。这些方法灵敏度较高(例如SbCl_6~-甲基紫法的摩尔吸光系数为1.1×10~5),选择性较好,有一定的实用价值。但是,它们的共同缺点是需要用有机溶剂进行萃取,有臭味和毒性,操作繁琐,使其应用受到很大的限制。
