The macro cell corrosion behavior of Q235 steel in soil was studied in a laboratory by a simulator. The results show that the difference of saturated / unsaturated soil environment plays a decisive role in the macro-cell corrosion of metal; the resistivity of soil can influence the current distribution of macro-battery
