为了解决建筑物及其基础细微裂隙的补强和固结问题,我们在中国科学院化学研究所、武汉化学研究所(现改名为广州化学研究所)等单位协作下,于1960年初开始对甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)作为化学灌浆材料进行研究。这类材料具有下列优点:1、粘度比水低,表面张力约为水的三分之一,有很好的渗透能力,可灌性好;2、采用过氧化苯甲酰(BPO)为引发剂、二甲基苯胺(DMA)为促进剂时,在摄氏零度以下—19~—23℃仍可以聚合硬化,硬化时间可以控制;
