2012年4月,浙江省文物考古研究所会同武义县博物馆对位于武义县城东的徐谓礼墓进行了抢救性的清理。该墓地分地表墓园、地下墓室两部分,墓园现存三级台地、方形围墙、八边形封土基座。墓室为双穴并列的砖椁石顶墓,随葬品几乎尽遭盗掘,仅出土徐谓礼墓室内的棺木与两通圹志,另当地公安局尚缴获有徐谓礼“录白告身”、“录白敕黄”、“录白印纸”等重要文书。徐谓礼墓的发掘,为我们认识南宋后期墓葬的葬俗提供了新的例证。墓室随葬的文书,对南宋官制、文书的研究,将有重大的学术价值。
