无论是古代还是现代,交通对于方便人们往来、促进社会发展、迅速传达政令、维护国家统一,都起着重大作用。我国古代的交通分陆路和水路两个方面(空中交通是近代的事),陆路最主要的交通工具是车。而车的发明和船的制造,一方面反映了我国古代科学技术的发展水平,另一方面也折射出有关的文化信息。
Whether ancient or modern, transportation plays a significant role in facilitating people’s exchanges, promoting social development, rapidly transmitting government decrees and safeguarding national unification. In ancient China, the traffic is divided into two parts: waterway and land transport (air traffic is a modern thing), and the most important means of transport over land is the car. The invention of the car and ship manufacturing, on the one hand, reflects the level of development of science and technology in ancient China, on the other hand, it also reflects the relevant cultural information.
