The so-called mycorrhizal fungi are attached to plant roots in the state of living together. Generally believed that higher plants from the mycorrhizal intake of inorganic and microbial, fungi from the plant roots uptake of organic matter. The relationship between the two, the balance of coordination occurs symbiotic relationship, mutual benefit; when one is too strong, it becomes the so-called parasitic state. Mycorrhiza can significantly increase the plant’s absorption of phosphorus, while increasing calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese and other inorganic salts absorption. Mycorrhizal plants due to increased inorganic nutrition, can promote growth and development, robust tree vigor, in low fertility of the soil is more obvious. This article discusses the current status of mycorrhizal utilization in citrus cultivation.
