本文以中国先秦编钟(甬钟)和西方低地国家钟琴两种不同形制的青铜乐钟为研究对象,对中国文化中“天人合一”的思维观念和西方文化中“天人相分”的思维观念带来的科技思维的不同及乐器发展高峰期的不同步性进行历史考察,结合编钟和钟琴历史发展脉络中蕴含的文化内涵进行初步分析和比较。在对比中解读东西方乐钟在形制、声学、演奏方式及其文化属性等方面的不同。
