空心菜又名藤藤菜、蕹菜、通菜.一年生蔓性草本植物.我所于1978年从南方引入,经多点试种,表现出耐碱、抗病、速生、高产和容易管理等优良特性.是7～8月份绿叶菜类淡季的良好蔬菜.空心菜品质脆嫩,味道佳美,食用部分是柔嫩的茎叶.可做汤菜、炒菜、泡菜、凉菜、饺馅等.适合在庭院、园田种植.辽宁、吉林、黑龙江都能种.
