在当前的高校英语口译教学中,许多的外教老师逐渐将模因论应用到其中,然而,到目前为止,尚未形成一种标准的教学体系。对于英语口译教学来说,模因论中的周期四阶段方法是非常适用的,针对英语口译教学的课堂特点,模因论理论知识的引进,能够为我国的英语口译教学带来新的发展形势,引起高校对英语口译教学的新思考,根据从中得到的新启示,高校可以采取新的应对策略,从而提高我国高校英语口译教学的质量,提升高校学生的英语口译水平。
