解放七年來,北京市中学班主任工作是有很大的進展的。最初,从学校行政领导到班主任自己,对了班主任工作的重要性认识不足,对于班主任的职責認识不清楚,因而班主任往往只是某些事务工作或个別問題的处理者。其后,各校开始学习苏联先進经驗,部分班主任初步認識到班主任工作是个教育工作,注意通过各种活动对学生進行政治思想教育,同时为了有效地教育学生,也就开始注意去了解学生,注意家長工作等等。自1954年夏季中共北京市委發布“关于提高北京市中、小学教育質量的决定”以后,各校行政和班主任对于班主任工作的重要性有了進一步的認識,初步明确了班主任的任务是要培养全面發展的社会主义成員;特別是有些历來不願作班主任工作的也喜欢作这个工作了。在全面發展的思想指導下,有些班主任还能根据学生年齡特征和个性特征進行正面教育,并在教育过程中注意發挥团、队的作用和学生集体的作用。这样,就使我們班主任的工作進入了一个新的階段。

Since the summer of 1954, when the CPC Beijing Municipal Party Committee released the Decision on Improving the Quality of Primary and Middle School Education in Beijing, the administrators and class masters in each school have a better understanding of the importance of the teacher in charge of the class and have made it clear that the task of the class teacher is to cultivate a comprehensive The development of socialism members; especially those who have always been reluctant to work as a class teacher also like to do this work. Under the guidance of all-round development, some class teachers can also conduct positive education according to the characteristics of students’ age and personality. In the process of education, they should also pay attention to the role of groups and teams and the collective role of students. In this way, our class teacher’s work has entered a new phase.
