到本世纪末，我国将进入人口老年型国家的行列，发展者年经济，开展老年经济学研究，已成为一个刻不容缓的新课题。本文从社会生产和再生产过程的四个环节，即生产、分配、流通和消费，分析在我国建立社会主义市场经济体制的过程中，如何使老年经济和老年经济学的研究跃上一个新台阶。
