铁(Ⅲ)与8-羟基喹啉在酸性溶液中形成的深绿色络合物可用于以8-羟基喹啉为试剂,微量测定铁或间接测定镁。Gerber等曾测定醋酸溶液中此绿色络合物的吸收光谱,找出650nm处的吸光率最大。Sandell等研究此络合物的组成后,认为在pH1.52至1.92间形成1:1络合物,[FeOx]~(2+)[Ox代表8-羟基喹啉阴离子,(C_9H_6NO)~-];如pH>1.92时,组成有所变化,但未得到整数比的络合物。我们研究pH1.9至3.27间铁(Ⅲ)与8-羟基喹啉的络合反应,得出在pH<2.20时形成1:1络合物,pH3.0至3.15时形成1:2络合物,而pH>3.27时形成沉淀。
