The traditional retail market can no longer satisfy the appetite of Indian e-commerce giants. Flipkart.com, Snapdeal.com and Groupon.co.in, the leaders in the Indian e-commerce market, are also competing for the traditional retail market while focusing on “online education ”field. Indian ratings and research institute survey results show that India’s education market in 2014-2015 is expected to reach 958.6 trillion US dollars, while the current online education market just over 4 billion US dollars. Snapdeal launched its online classroom in February this year, offering specialized courses that include hours and hours for licenses and degrees and even MBA degrees. Currently, the company provides about 5,000 courses for 25 million users and expects 20% of the company’s total revenue.
