西瓜是异花授粉作物,品种间杂种优势明显,目前国内外利用杂种优势创造出不少高产、优质的西瓜一代杂种。鉴于亲本品种配合力的好坏是杂交育种工作中选择亲本的重要依据。因此,用双列杂交的方法测定供试亲本的配合力,对于合理选用亲本,鉴定组合优劣是杂种一代选育的有效程序。目前,在蔬菜上应用双列杂交的设计方案及其分析方法,国内外已有不少报道,而在西瓜方面报道甚少。本试验目的是比较各亲本自交系的两种配合力,确定优质、高产的杂交组合,提出适宜的亲本材料,并逐步积累西瓜主要数量性状遗传变异规律的资料,为改进西瓜杂种一代选育的程序、方法提供依据。
Watermelon cross-pollination crops, hybrids obvious advantages between varieties at home and abroad to use heterosis to create a lot of high-yield, high-quality watermelon generation hybrids. In view of the good or bad of combining ability of parental varieties, it is an important basis for choosing parents in hybrid breeding. Therefore, the combinatorial ability of the tested parents was determined by the method of double row hybridization. For the rational selection of parents, the identification of the merits of combination is an effective procedure for the breeding of hybrids. At present, there are many reports both at home and abroad on the design scheme and analysis method of the application of the double-line hybridization in vegetables, and few reports on watermelon. The purpose of this experiment is to compare the two combining ability of each parental inbred line, to identify the high-yielding and high-yielding hybrid combinations, to put forward suitable parental materials and gradually accumulate the genetic variations of the main quantitative characters of watermelon.
