无论在微生物的生理、生态和遗传育种研究,或是在生产应用中,都离不开活菌数的测定。微生物活菌数的测定方法不少。其中,重要的有稀释平板计数、转管计数(Roll tube count)、表面或微滴计数(Surf-ace ordrop count)和薄膜过滤计数(Mem-brane filter count)等等。这些计数方法的原理,都是基于样品稀释液中的每一活菌体,能在合适的培养基上形成肉眼可数的菌落。故这类方法一般要用较长的培养时间,在需要快速测定大批量样品时,就尚感不便。
