我们镇位于藤吊山西侧、榕江北河中游,是半山区地带。全镇管辖48.57平方公里,可耕地33406亩,山地20176亩,共有77403人,17892户,建制分11个村公所和一个居委会。解放以来就有文化乡之称。一九五四年锡西村建立起全省第一个农村俱乐部。一九五七年全镇有业余剧团23个。历年来,全镇宣传文化活动比较活跃。党的十一届三中全会以来,我们贯彻“一个中心、两个基本点”的总方针,实行开放改革,大力发展农村商品经济,全镇农业生产和其它经济建没有了较大发展。
Our town is located in the west side of the vine hanging hill, Rongjiang River North River, Mid-Levels area. The town under the jurisdiction of 48.57 square kilometers, 33,406 acres of arable land, mountainous area 20176 mus, a total of 77,403 people, 17,892 households, the system is divided into 11 village offices and a neighborhood committee. Since liberation, there is a cultural village. In 1954, Xi Xicun established the province’s first rural club. In 1957, the town has 23 amateur theater groups. Over the years, the town propaganda and cultural activities more active. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, we have carried out the general guideline of “one center and two basic points,” implemented an open reform and vigorously developed the rural commodity economy. There has been no major development in the town’s agricultural production and other economic construction.
