从传统翻译观到翻译主体论,翻译领域的研究重心已从忠实原文转移到译者所扮演的重要角色。译者作为原诗的读者和译文的作者,在诗人和目的语读者之间起到至关重要的桥梁作用。译者的成长环境、教育程度、文化背景和文学素养等都会造成译者意识形态上的理解差异,使其产出的译文风格迥异,各具特色。本文通过对陶诗《归园田居》(其一)三个英译本进行对比分析,进一步探讨翻译过程中译者主体性与创造性的彰显。
From the traditional perspective of translation to the subject of translation, the research center of translation has shifted from a loyal source to an important role translator plays. The translator, as the author of the original poem and the author of the translation, plays a crucial bridging role between the poet and the target audience. The translator’s growing environment, education level, cultural background and literary accomplishment all will cause the translator’s ideological differences and make the translated versions of the translator different in style and distinctive. This article compares and analyzes the three English versions of “Poetry Homeland” (One), and further explores the translator’s subjectivity and creativity in translation.
