On June 18, 1970, 377 young people in Lianzhou, Guangdong, responded to the call of the nation and joined the Zhanjiang farm. At that time, they were only a group of middle school students under the age of 20, and now they are almost all year old and have experienced vicissitudes for nearly half a century. In search of old memory and friendship, they once again meet in Lianzhou. On June 19, 2010, nearly 400 elderly people gathered together in Lianzhou, a mountain town in the northwestern city of Yuexiu, where Lianzhou Zhiqing attended the 40th anniversary of the Guangzhou Production and Construction Corps and the 8th Division of his comrades-in-arms Association. This is a rare happy reunion. Participants included even the educated youth with state staff, as well as comrades from Guangzhou, Zhanjiang, Shantou, Huizhou, Dongguan, Hong Kong and Maucao, where they lived and worked together.
