Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in New Zealand. Although skin cancer is rarely fatal, one out of three New Zealanders today may be suffering from this disease, and the prevalence is increasing every year. New Zealand’s clear sky, mild climate, outdoor lifestyle and whites account for the high incidence of skin cancer in this country.
