The significant therapeutic effect of IL-2 on some malignancies has brought hope for the biological treatment of malignant tumors. It has also become a hot spot in recent years to develop high purity, high activity and high yield of IL-2 gene engineering products. This article compares the advantages and disadvantages of E. coli, yeast, mammalian cells and insect cell expression systems and their application in the recombinant expression of IL-2, and forecasts its development trend.
