根据《中共中央、国务院关于<中共湖北省委机构改革方案>和<湖北省人民政府机构改革方案>的通知》(中委[2000]27号),设置湖北省旅游局。省旅游局是主管全省旅游业的省政府直属机构。一、职能调整(一)不再保留对旅游外汇、旅游价格的管理职能。(二)将实施旅游行业技术等级考核、行业资格考试和等级考试的组织工作以及受理旅游者投诉等具体工作交由有关事业单位承担。二、主要职责
