奉贤区立足区情实际,坚持二、三、一产业布局,大力发展第三产业,不断提升第三产业在全区经济总量中的份额和比重。据统计,2002年全区实现第三产业增加值36亿元,同比增长11.8％,占全区GDP比重的32.7％;实现社会消费品零售总额63.14亿元,同比增长16.7％;实现商品销售总额113.1亿元,同比增长17％。全年实现三产税收8.56亿元,占全区税收总额的38.7％,其中三产地方税收占到了全区地方税收的51％。第三产业的税收已成为奉贤区地方财政收入的主要来源之一。

According to statistics, in 2002, the added value of tertiary industry in the whole region reached 3.6 billion yuan, up 11.8% over the same period of previous year, accounting for 32.7% of the GDP of the region; total retail sales of social consumer goods reached 6.314 billion yuan, up 16.7% over the same period of last year; total sales of goods 113.1 Billion, an increase of 17%. Throughout the year, a tax revenue of 856 million yuan was realized, accounting for 38.7% of the total tax revenue in the region, of which tax revenue from the tertiary industry accounted for 51% of the local tax revenue in the region. Taxation in the tertiary industry has become one of the major sources of local financial revenue in Fengxian District.
