2017年6月5日中东多国针对卡塔尔突然爆发断交风波,沙特、埃及、阿联酋等国除了与卡塔尔断交,还对后者实施了海陆空封锁。不过,重压之下的卡塔尔并未在中东失去立足之地,卡塔尔的全球竞争力一直保持在阿拉伯国家及中东国家的前列。卡塔尔拥有相当丰富的油气资源,天然气的总储量排名世界第三。这就引起我们注意到一个问题:虽然外部政治环境恶化,但这并不妨碍卡塔尔的经济实力不容忽视。本文以经济为切入点,分析卡塔尔经济发展模式的变化,意图揭开其“国小而力强”的谜团。
On June 5, 2017, Sudan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and other countries broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar on the sudden and intermittent diplomatic turmoil in Qatar. However, under the heavy pressure of Qatar did not lose its foothold in the Middle East, Qatar’s global competitiveness has remained at the forefront of the Arab countries and the Middle East countries. Qatar has a considerable oil and gas resources, the total reserves of natural gas ranked third in the world. This has drawn our attention to one issue: although the external political environment has deteriorated, this does not prevent Qatar’s economic strength from being overlooked. Based on economy, this article analyzes the change of Qatar’s economic development model and attempts to reveal the mystery of its “small and powerful nation”.
