新形势下共产党执政的本质,就是要遵循当代人类政治文明发展的基本价值取向——民主与法治,对资本主义政治制度的两面性分别采取批判和借鉴的做法,领导广大人民群众当家作主。只有走现代民主法治道路,才能确保党执政的合法性、权威性、效率性,才能真正贯彻落实好“三个代表”。
Under the new situation, the essence of the communist party’s ruling is to follow the basic value orientation of the development of contemporary human’s political civilization - democracy and the rule of law. Each should take a critical and reference approach to the two sides of the capitalist political system and lead the masses of people as their own masters. Only by taking the road of modern democracy and the rule of law can we ensure the legitimacy, authority and efficiency of the party in governing so that the “three represents” can be truly implemented.
