本文运用结构语义学的理论和方法，描写和分析蒙古语五种牲畜（以下简称五畜）名称的语义特征。内容包括：１．界定蒙古语五畜名称的基本概念，把一些语义解释混乱的名称分为广义和狭义两类。２．分析蒙古语五畜名称的语义场。３．分析五畜名称的义素成分。４．分析五畜名称的语言特点和文化特点。
This paper uses the theories and methods of structural semantics to describe and analyze the semantic features of the names of five Mongolian herds (hereinafter referred to as the “five beasts”). Contents include: 1. Define the basic concepts of Mongolian five beasts name, the confusion of the name of some semantic interpretation is divided into broad and narrow two categories. 2. Analysis on the Semantic Field of Mongolian Five Animals Names. 3. Analysis of the names of the five domestic animals of the elements. 4. Analysis of the language characteristics and cultural characteristics of the name of the five domestic animals.
