A few years ago, in the quiet night of western Liaoning, China, fossil-seekers completed yet another transaction with sinful hands. Psittacosaurus, a precious fossil, so displaced to the German Museum of Natural History in Frankfurt. On December 25, 2001, China Association of Vertebrate Palate sent an open letter to the museum to return the fossil, immediately aroused the concern of international public opinion. On January 10, this year, the author of “Nature” magazine in the United Kingdom said that the director of the Museum of Natural History in Frankfurt said he had not yet read the Chinese scholars’ request for the return of the psittacosaurus fossils and refused to answer whether they would consider returning the fossil to China. This is what we know about psittacosaurus fossils.
