校徽在高校中扮演着越来越重要的作用,它作为学校的象征物蕴含着高校的办学理念、深厚的文化内涵等。而图腾代表的族群、文化或者是精神等很值得我们去研究他们二者之间的某些相似的特征。当然图腾并不能等同于标志或者徽标,因为图腾是人类从远古时期的先人们继承下来的,它的起始可能是对祖先的畏惧,对大自然的崇拜,或者是与天地之间的一种沟通方式。校徽的代表物更加具体,作为校徽设计应该深入的挖掘本民族的图腾文化在校徽中的体现与运用。通过对本民族、本地域图腾的挖掘,运用现代设计手法进行抽象、简化、融合做出严谨同时又具有民族认同感且具有现代精神的优秀的校徽设计。
School badge plays an increasingly important role in colleges and universities. As a symbol of school, it embodies the concept of running a school and profound cultural connotation. The ethnicity, culture or spirit represented by the totem is well worth studying for some similar features between them.
