We have in the electric closed and open hydraulic dynamometer loading test rig, variable length gear reducer NPL-350 under a steady load carrying capacity test. The results show that the contact strength of the variable-length gear reducer is more than 3 times higher than that of the involute gear reducer with the same parameters.
