Objective To understand the risk factors of incision healing after cesarean section and to reduce the incidence of poor healing. Methods The clinical data of patients with cesarean section were retrospectively analyzed. The results of age, gestational age, pregnancy time, body mass index (BMI), underlying diseases, timing of operation, type of incision, preoperative antibiotic prophylaxis, Operation time and other differences, and statistical analysis. Results The abdominal incision healed well with 96.16% and the healing rate was 3.84%. The influencing factors were: basic disease, high BMI, emergency surgery, longitudinal incision type, antibiotics without prophylaxis, long operation time (P <0.05), but no relationship with age, gestational age and pregnancy time (P> 0.05). Conclusion The incision healing is more common after cesarean section and related to many factors. Targeted preventive measures should be formulated according to the relevant factors.
