Liang Qichao absorbs, draws on Burren’s theory of nationalism, and advocates, uses and criticizes on the basis of the theory of Chinese theory. This process reflects the general context in which modern Western ideas were introduced to China, and some of the issues highlighted therein are worth pondering.
